Hi, I’m Owen. I’m a Public Historian based in the Washington, DC area, specializing in Oral and Digital History.
I am a Liaison Specialist for the Library of Congress Veterans History Project and currently serve as the Vice President of the Oral History in the Mid-Atlantic Region (OHMAR) professional association, with prior service as OHMAR Communications Director. I support the National Council on Public History as a member of their Government Historians subcommittee. I hold a Public History Master of Arts degree from Central Connecticut State University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Connecticut.

Intro
I advance the field of Public History through practices, projects, and pedagogy that create inclusive spaces within traditional archives. For me, success is measured through users’ ability to create, preserve, and access content that tells their stories, in a way that feels authentic and comfortable.
